Hi, I'm Julie, the owner of Blooming with Balance.

I created Blooming with Balance in 2015, after I had my own healing journey. I spent years feeling unhealthy, scared, scattered, anxious, and empty on the inside and did not understand why. My feelings not only affected my body, mind, and spirit, but my loved ones as well. I wanted to feel better, but I did not know where to begin. Finally, after years of researching and self-healing, I found the answers for which I had been searching for. It was then, I found my true path and purpose. I wanted to share my knowledge and passion with others. I wanted to help women heal, and that is how Blooming with Balance was born.

My Healing Journey

My healing journey first led me to become a yoga teacher. I completed a 500-YTT program at The Zen Yoga Studio & Healing Arts Center in Cleveland. It was then that my love for astrology, healing crystals, and energy work began.

I will never forget my yoga teacher telling me to “stop crying through life.” I always thought that I was an extremely strong woman. I took care of everyone and everything. It took me years to understand what she meant, and she was so right!  It was at that point I felt the pull to learn more about my energy and its ties to my emotions. This led me to the path of Reiki.

Since I had already cut out or reduced most of the toxins in my life, I continued that journey to the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. There I became a Nutritional Health Coach. I realized that proper nutrition plays a very important part in supporting healing.

I now dedicate my life to giving my clients the tools necessary to create their healthiest, happiest lives. My energetic insight will guide you in all areas of your life. I believe in individual uniqueness and am excited to learn and support you on your path to freedom.

Blooming with Balance

A 1-minute Story

“And when the flower was ready to awaken, it felt the tendrils of weeds wrapped around her. They plugged in to her, and she believed they gave her the power to live. Over time, she felt the grooves of the weeds that wrapped around her in her flesh and wished to be rid of them. One day she took one of her own thorns and cut one weed. Falling to the ground, immediately she felt drained, and so she took the weed and wrapped it around herself again.

~*~

For many years, the flower stayed half awake and half asleep. Never blooming. She would cut the weeds, only to wrap them to her once again. Every time she would attempt to open, when her petals released, she felt the intensity of the sun’s rays beating on her, and she closed.

~*~

Over time, she grew closer to death, and so did the weeds around her.

One dark day, with her stem bent and wilted and her leaves draped to the ground, a great thunderstorm poured rain and washed many of the dying weeds away.

“This is it.” The flower said to herself. “No more weeds to keep me in place.” She surely thought that she would die.

~*~

When a gentle sun rose the next morning, the flower noticed her roots. They felt full and connected with water. Nourishment ran up her stem, through her leaves, and into her hidden petals. The water gently healed her wounds from the weeds, and the pain was much less. She couldn’t believe that she was still alive.

And with the new life that had been raised up in her, and the loss of the weeds that had bound her, she straightened her stem, faced her head toward the light, and bloomed.”
